NORDECO at Woodex Mebel Summit 2025

In early June, Moscow hosted the first Woodex Mebel Summit, a major event for the woodworking industry! This is a new platform for maintaining and expanding business ties between the heads of Russian furniture manufacturers and suppliers of equipment for furniture production.

More than 200 delegates, 25 speakers, including representatives of NORDECO, and 10 hours of diverse information about the Russian furniture market in a networking format.Ilya Korotkov, a member of the Board of Directors of  CPFP JSC, one of NORDECO’s production sites, presented his vision of the current situation concerning the board and plywood industries in Russia as a whole – complex, problematic, but still solvable. Thus, for NORDECO, the difficulties turned out to be a kind of new round in the evolution of the business: large-scale investment and social programs, maintaining strategic guidelines, launching a new production site – difficult, but still feasible. Yes, the Russian woodworking industry is going through a difficult period now. But as before, NORDECO remains among the leaders – not because it is easy, but because it is difficult!
