The project to update the lamination lines has been completed!

The consortium of JSC CPFP and JSC VLP Group is taking a significant step forward in developing laminated product production. Following a large-scale equipment upgrade, in which over one billion rubles were invested, the companies are poised to increase production of in-demand products by 20%.

On June 24, a significant event will take place in the village of Sheksna: the official commissioning of the latest lamination lines at the production sites of VokhtogaLesDrev and the Sheksna Wood Boards Plant. These joint ventures, part of the consortium of JSC CPFP and JSC VLP Group, will now be able to offer the market even more high-quality laminated products. During the ceremony, certificates will be signed confirming the successful achievement of all contractual targets.

Testing conducted from March to June 2026, jointly with HAPCO engineers, demonstrated compliance with contractually stated productivity requirements, and the lines are currently reaching their design capacity.

Key performance indicators of the new lines:

• Sheksna Wood Boards Plant LLC: capacity will be 11.521 million square meters per year. The new line is capable of producing NORDECO laminated boards in three popular formats (2440x1830 mm, 2750x1830 mm, and 2800x2070 mm) with a wide range of thicknesses – from 6 to 38 mm. This significantly expands the product range and increases production flexibility, allowing furniture manufacturers to create more diverse and modern interiors, offering consumers a wide range of design solutions and functional options.
• VohtogaLesDrev LLC: line capacity will reach 10.125 million square meters per year. NORDECO laminated products in the 2750 x 1830 mm format with thicknesses ranging from 8 to 38 mm will be manufactured here.

Particularly noteworthy is the fully automated production process on both new lines. From raw material feeding to finished product packaging and shipment to the warehouse, all operations are performed automatically. This guarantees not only high productivity but also the consistently high quality of NORDECO products, as well as maximum efficiency at all production stages.

The modernization project also includes further expansion of production capacity. The necessary groundwork has already been laid at the Sheksna Wood Boards Plan for the subsequent integration of a new, larger-format chipboard line, which will further expand the plant's production capabilities.

It is important to note that the new lines operate in parallel with existing equipment. Two additional lamination lines continue to operate at each facility, ensuring uninterrupted and reliable supplies.

The implementation of this large-scale project not only strengthens the market position of JSC CPFP and JSC VLP Group of Companies, but also contributes to the socioeconomic development of the Vologda Region.

The opening ceremony will be attended by the management of JSC CPFP, JSC VLP Group of Companies, Sheksna Wood Boards Plant LLC, VohtogaLesDrev LLC, government representatives, key partners, and Mr. Xu Kai, Director of HAPCO, the supplier of innovative equipment for the new lines. This project is an important step for the companies' development. It will help strengthen NORDECO's position in the wood-based panels and furniture materials market, increase competitiveness, and expand its product range.
